This 100% cotton thread has a soft twist which gives it a beautiful sheen. About the same weight as two strands of floss, Floche works beautifully for cross stitch, blackwork, surface embroidery and canvas work. Once you try this thread it will be a favorite! Special Lace Cotton (Tatting Thread)

Special Lace is a long-fibre, one-hundred-percent cotton crochet yarn which has been twice mercerized, a process that gives it both strength and glossiness. This size 80 thread is most commonly known as tatting thread in this country but is perfect for very fine crochet as well. We have one customer who loves to stitch Hardanger on 36ct fabric and uses tatting thread for needleweaving! Available in 51 solid colors and 25 verigated colors Special Lace is wound on 100 yard (97 meter) balls. Most colors in stock, all available special order.
