Kumihimo Necklace with Focal Bead Price: $45.00 Item_Number: LR-KN Class participants will learn how to braid a simple eight-strand rope (without beads) for a necklace which features a barrel bead as the focal bead. The picture above is a representation of the actual necklace. Kits will include: braiding cord, kumihimo disk, barrel bead, cord bobbins, cord end caps, thread for tying off the rope, a weight for the rope, wire, and clasps. Student needs to bring: wire snips for the wire and glue, such as E 6000 or similar glue. The teacher will have snips and glue in the class for those who don’t have them. For those who took the beaded kumihimo class last fall, you are encouraged to not use the same disk. The cord for this class is much larger than the thread used in the beaded class. The cord will “stretch” the notches in the disk, which will make the disk unusable with regular thread. Qty:	Where Does Creativity Come From? Price: $25.00 Item_Number: PD-CR In this class we're going to explore the sources for creative work and learn that being creative is a process, not some magic gift, and that it's available to all of us. We'll look at what we need to do to get ready to create an original design, where to find the idea, and what it takes to make that idea a reality. We'll do some fun, easy exercises designed to spark ideas and you'll leave this class ready to begin to add new excitement to your needlework adventure. You're closer than you realize! I have chosen the Celebration Cupcake pincushion to teach during this retreat. Made from handdyed wool, the kit includes buttons, pins, and cupcake wrapper, too. Chocolate Cherry Truffle Bracelet Price: $45.00 Item_Number: TB-CC The “Chocolate Cherry Truffle” bracelet was designed for novice beaders. It looks so much more difficult than it is. It teaches a basic stitch (Peyote) using different Japanese seed beads. The bracelet can be finished by most students in before class is finished. The kit include generous quantities of Japanese seed beads in various sizes and shapes, beading needles, beading thread and full color instructions. The colors are exactly as the name implies: deep burgundy/chocolate brown. Qty:	Haystacks Bracelet Price: $45.00 Item_Number: TB-HB The Haystacks Bracelet is stitched in a variation of Right Angle Weave, using various beads to make layers topped off with crystals. This is a great way to learn this very popular stitch! Qty:	Soprano Bracelet Price: $55.00 Item_Number: TB-SB The “Soprano” bracelet is designed for novice beaders. It teaches the student the basics of Circular Brick Stitch. This is a full day class. Students will finish most of the project in class. What will be left is putting the components together to make the bracelet. Kits include generous quantities of Japanese seed beads, Czech fire polished beads, beading needles, beading thread and full color instructions.
