I’m starting a new project! Isn’t it fun to do all the start-up activities? Get the chart, choose the fabrics, pick threads and plan how you’re going to start?

This project is called Tree of Stitches and is a stitch along with the group I just told you about, the Stitch Specialists. I’ve chosen my threads and fabric and have decided to share the journey on the Blog so watch for posts as I work along on this. The beginning might be a bit slow as I’m working on a commitment I made to ANG to complete a piece before Seminar and Yikes! Seminar is the end of August and August is the end of next week… Can’t show you that piece until after Seminar (it’s a stitch along with ANG) but it is awesome and I’m totally enjoying stitching it.

Fabric and threads for Tree of Stitches

The threads are Waterlilies and represent (from left to right) Winter, Autumn, Summer, Spring, and the tree trunk. The fabric is Weeks Dye Works Hand Dyed Linen 30ct Morris Blue.
